Amazing home made flavor with professional representation and hospitality. My favorite to go lunch spot. Have also ordered catering and was ASTONISHED how fast and professional he gets it done with such a small crew. The food was photo ready! Having family from the Middle East this food is authentic!

Oh my god!!! I love this place. Had the falafel sandwich and it was hands down the best I have ever had. Next time I will come back for a vegetarian burger and then the x-large pizza. Another customer got the pizza and it looked soooo good and it was HUGE. I also bought some cookies and the pistachio halawa. I am hooked. Can't wait to go again. 5 stars is not enough. Oh and the owner is very cool and explained everything. Just had a large spinach, onion and mushroom pizza with my daughter. Still the best pizza around. Just AMAZING!!!

My father catered for me from this restaurant for my housewarming. And this food was DELICIOUS!!! From the rice to the chicken, especially! It was so well packaged as well. My family & friends love all of it, I could tell from there not being any leftovers! Thank you so much! Will definitely be catering from you all again!

Driven by this place dozens of times and finally decided to try it as something new. We got the chicken shawarma platter and the kebab combo platter - the flavors were incredible. Will return soon.

My family and friends came here to celebrate a birthday and everything we had was delicious. We got cheese pizza for the kids and convinced them to venture out of their comfort zone with Khachipuri and they loved it. For the adults we got many items like Khachipuri with sijouk, chicken shawarma, sijouk and cheese sandwich, kebab platers and veg options like the falafel and humus and platter #2. Everything we had was delicious, the rice was amazing. I could eat 10 more kachipuris, they were cheesy, savory, perfect salinity and the dough itself was very tasty. Items we got were seasoned perfectly and at a reasonable price. The owner was very attentive and patient with our party of 12. I cannot wait to eat here again.

My wife is Armenian from Los Angeles, and was really craving a taste of home. I was so happy when I found this place for her, was only a 35 minute drive from DC. We came in very early on a Saturday morning, and was helped right away by Vatche (the owner) who was incredibly very kind. The food blew us away, and we left with happy stomachs. The cheese boat (khachapuri), lahmajoun, and tarragon lemonade/soda was our favorite, but we are already planning our next trip here!

Sasuns Cafe in Derwood is seriously one of my favorite spots. The owner is the sweetest, so humble and always treats us like family—like we’re special guests every time. The food is amazing! We’ve ordered catering for Christmas, family parties, and even for the office—and everyone loves it. The pizza? It smells and tastes like no other pizza I’ve ever had—something about it just hits different. This place is a hidden gem. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out big time.
